The Lagos State Police Command today, September 18, established a 13-member committee to investigate the immediate and remote causes of the death of musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad, who died in dubious circumstances last Tuesday, September 12.
Speaking to reporters at the panel’s start, the state Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, who was surrounded by Mohbad’s family members, urged the public to give information to help with the probe.
He stated that all data, including videos, will be used in the probe and that it will not be limited to specific persons. He stated that the command would target anybody the probe finds appropriate. He also stated that the command can pick up anyone, anywhere in the world.
”No matter where you are in the world, remember that we have access to Interpol,” he said.
Everyone involved in the terrible tragedy will be identified and hauled in, according to the police chief.
The panel is slated to provide its report in two weeks.
