“According to a Tuesday announcement from Guinness World Records, Diana Armstrong has surpassed the previous record for the longest fingernails ever grown on a pair of female hands.
The 63-year-old Minnesotan also holds the record for the longest pair of hands’ fingernails in history for a female.”
She has a reason for that.
She claimed that she had lost her 16-year-old daughter, who had been doing her nails for her.
The girl passed away from asthma while she slept. She was unable to deal with the loss of her daughter and kept her nails long as a coping mechanism.
She kept it for a very long time because she felt more connected to her daughter as it grew.
She claimed that she had never imagined it would make her famous or something.
